After years of teaching lessons with both our own horses and clients’ horses, I’ve seen a clear and growing need for more saddle fitting services—especially in western disciplines. To better serve our herd and our community, I am currently training to become a certified saddle fitter through Saddlefit 4 Life, a respected, brand-independent school based in Germany. As part of my certification, I need to complete 30 fittings with a variety of horse-and-rider pairs.

What You Get

• A full, individual body mapping of your horse to understand his/her saddle support area.

• A static assessment of your saddle and how it fits both you and your horse's measurements.

• A dynamic assessment to help assess how your saddle fits in movement and address any post-ride issues.

What You Need

• A standing saddle rack (not one with wheels)

• A well-groomed horse

• An arena or flat space suitable for riding

• Riders should be in riding attire, as you’ll need to ride for 15–20 minutes during the dynamic assessment

What Does It Cost?
The first 30 fittings will be offered free of charge, with only a travel fee of $1 per mile round trip. These sessions are designed to be informative and helpful, with the understanding that I am still in training—but I am committed to providing thoughtful, quality recommendations.
